Deep To Deep
Psalm 42:7 (ESV)- "Deep calls to deep at the roar of your waterfalls; all your breakers and your waves have gone over me."
Psalm 92:12-15 (ESV)- "The righteous flourish like the palm tree and grow like a cedar in Lebanon. They are planted in the house of the Lord; they flourish in the courts of our God. They still bear fruit in old age; they are ever full of sap and green, to declare that the Lord is upright; he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him."
The world we live in demands shallowness at every turn. Our culture celebrates & idolizes women who will bow to the pressure of giving in to inch-deep reflections of beauty. It sometimes seems that the more fake you are, the more people approve of you. However, real truth, value & love are not found in shallowness, but in depth.
Proverbs 31:30 (ESV)- "Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised."
Deep To Deep is not your ordinary "women's ministry."
