One Harbor Church: Morehead City, NC

Someone in an email once gave us the compliment of all compliments when they referred to us as, "obsessed with the Gospel."  One Harbor is not alone by any stretch of the imagination when it comes to a dedication to the Gospel.  One of the reasons we chose the name One Harbor is that a harbor is not a lake, but must be part of a much bigger body.  We are vitally connected to this global body of Christ.  We learn and grow from many and hopefully others will benefit from us.  

One example of a team of churches that we are a part of and have learned much from is The Gospel Coalition.  I cannot tell you how deeply we have benefited from the countless resources that this team of pastors has put together.  We have become a church that associates itself with this greater team of churches which simply means we know we are not alone and don't want to be alone.  

Tim Keller says regarding the Gospel Coalition, "We are a group of pastors committed to getting the Gospel right, and getting the Gospel out." I cannot think of a more common mission statement with what God has called us to do.  Please join us in learning from these amazing leaders who've run much further than us and are leading the way in planting and pastoring churches dedicated to the Gospel.
