WHY A NEW BUILDING?
All for the Sake of the Gospel, We are Making Disciple-Making Disciples
The Situation: One Harbor’s Morehead Site has been operating at full capacity for years. We no longer have enough seats, parking or kid's facility space to accommodate new visitors.
The Problem: We expect that God is going to save many in our city, but we effectively have a “No Vacancy” sign hanging out front. We feel called to influence our region, but we are bottlenecked right here in Morehead. We are spending money every month on space that is limited in its functionality and usability.
The Solution: We are embarking on a building project so that we can grow with the vision God has given us for Morehead City and beyond. We do not want a bigger building simply for the sake of being in a bigger building, but for the sake of the mission – to make disciples who do everything for the sake of the Gospel.
Ultimately, the building is for Jesus and the mission He has given us to make much of His Gospel. Specifically, the building will be used for Sunday Services and will house our offices. It is also being designed as a space that can be used by the community throughout the week. It will be a place that people can come and enjoy coffee and read, or meet with others. It will be a place for mothers to relax and watch their kids play.

HOW CAN I HELP
This project will involve everyone. Here are the ways in which you can help:
Pray: Prayer is how we ask for God’s blessing and provision, and it is also the means through which God aligns our hearts to His plan. Please be praying for God to give us wisdom and direction and that He would make our paths straight.
Serve: Do you want to give toward the MHC Building Project with your time? We need your help! There will be a list of opportunities to volunteer for in the near future.
I WANT TO GIVE
This project will enable us to do so much more in our city and throughout Eastern North Carolina for the sake of the Gospel. If you would like to help by giving financially to the project please click the button below.
